This performance, brought to you by the Dream Maker Youth String Orchestra and the Shidong Elementary School String Orchestra, features a 30-minute string concert titled "Dancing Notes." The Shidong Elementary School String Orchestra is characterized by its unity, vibrancy, solid classical foundation, and diverse musical development. It aims to integrate various artistic fields and achieve more comprehensive growth.
Dreammaker youth string orchestra
Dreammaker youth string orchestra is composed of a group of teenagers full of dreams and a passion for music. Most of the members are alumni of the Shidong Elementary School String Orchestra. For this performance, they have specially invited junior members from the Shidong Elementary School String Orchestra to join them. The Shidong String Orchestra was founded in 2010 by a group of children who love music, along with caring and passionate parents. The orchestra aims to cultivate the rich musical heritage of children and promote holistic development. Through the string orchestra, children can engage in meaningful artistic activities during their spare time.
Rooted in classical foundations, the orchestra employs Western classical techniques and musical syntax to expand its musical repertoire across diverse genres. In addition to performing elegant classical music, the orchestra reinterprets Taiwanese traditional music, modern film scores, and animation soundtracks, providing a refreshing experience for the audience.
