Belgian multidisciplinary artist Miet Warlop will provide an in-depth look at  her celebrated work ONE SONG, acclaimed by The New York Times. With a background in visual arts, Warlop will discuss her creative vision and how she uses theater to express profound observations on human emotions and social phenomena. The audience will gain insight into how, in ONE SONG, Warlop combines dance, music, and visual art to depict the challenges humans face with time and physical limitations, and the boundless power this song conveys.

Miet Warlop, a Belgian visual artist born in 1978, gained acclaim for her graduation project Huilend Hert, Aangeschoten Wild, winning awards in 2004. In 2014, she founded Miet Warlop / Irene Wool, which blends visual art and performance. Warlop's performances have toured Europe and beyond, exploring the tension between static images and live action, often incorporating props and time. Musicians and actors interchange roles, as seen in her award-winning performance One Song, which has toured globally since 2022.
