About the Instructors
Taiwan|Bulareyaung Dance Company
Bulareyaung Dance Company was founded in 2015 in Taitung by Bulareyaung Pagarlava, an indigenous choreographer from Taiwan. Creation of dance pieces and dancer training are accomplished by working in the mountains and singing old chants by the waterside. Dancers develop unique body movements and vocabulary by delving into their indigenous heritage and culture through regular field trips.

FOCASA Circus— Lee Tsung-Hsuan✕Chao Wei-Chen
This circus workshop presented by FOCASA Circus begins with dance movements to guide participants in a subtle awakening of body awareness. Through flowing movements and interactive games, physical perception and coordination are activated. This is followed by core and limb endurance training which is needed to develop more advanced circus skills. Once the body and mind are fully connected, we introduce the basic principles and safety essentials of human pyramids, helping participants find the strength and trust that come from teamwork. Whether you are a dance enthusiast, a circus beginner, or simply someone who enjoys movement, you will walk away from this class with a unique physical experience and memories of delightful exchanges.
