Low-carbon Operations, Sustainability & Inclusivity

TPAC’s Green Actions
Low-carbon operations and sustainability & inclusivity are TPAC's two major directions for its development as a sustainable green theater. Based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) put forth by the United Nations, we formulate feasible and concrete actions from environmental, social, and governance aspects. Through performing arts activities, we create sensory experiences and implement sustainable practices, exerting cultural influence through artistic creativity.
Low-carbon Operations
Since its establishment, TPAC has had a cross-departmental sustainability team. Organizational greenhouse gas inventories are conducted and energy consuming equipment is replaced. In addition, inverters have been installed on escalators to improve energy savings and performance and a green information machine room has been established. When making purchasing decisions, priority is given to products with environmental protection labels. Moreover, staff uniforms are made from sustainable and eco-friendly materials, such as recycled PET yarn that has been certified based on global recycling standards. We also promote vegetarian meal days for employees and continuously practice energy conservation, as we develop a low-carbon operating model.

Sustainability & Inclusivity
TPAC is a young and atypical venue. It is an arts hub that brings together diverse and creative energies. Adhering to the principles of shared enjoyment of the arts and cultural equality, we are committed to promoting inclusive performances for people of all ages and diverse ethnic groups, increasing accessibility to the arts, and creating an arts venue and theater that is people-oriented and accessible.
- Activities for youth and the elderly: Activities are specially designed for the elderly to encourage them to explore physical possibilities through dance, circus training activities, and drama, enabling them to present their lasting youthful vitality. Their family members are also invited to participate to create warm cross-generational exchanges.
- Inclusive concerts: Inclusive performances are created for people of all ages and with various physical needs, so that each guest feels comfortable approaching the performing arts and experiencing their beauty without barriers.
