Department of Performing Arts, Hsing Wu University
Department of Performing Arts of Hsin-Wu University was established in 2016 and began enrolling students in 2017. The department features a renowned faculty and close partnerships with leading arts organizations, such as SET Talent, Eelin Entertainment, Godot Theatre and Quanta Arts Foundation. Our course structure integrates drama, dance, music, stage craft and production for training professional performers for theatre, musical and entertainment industry.Furthermore, our goal is to cultivate creative, technical and executive professionals in performing arts (both on stage and behind the scenes) that meet the needs of the current performing arts market and entertainment industry. Since its establishment, the department has actively participated in the development of the performing arts and the cultural environment of northern Taiwan, has strengthened the connection between teachers and students and arts and cultural institutions all through industry-university cooperation.
