as we find a way to protect the spirit of the great maple tree!

A lonely 9-year-old girl,A-Chia,has just moved to Taipei and made a new friend- the 200-year-old maple tree spirit in the temple of the God Bag-Gung in her new neighborhood! Yet the breaking news comes that the land of the temple and the maple tree is a Taipei Disneyland-To-Be.

 What is she to do? Is there anything she can do not help the God Bag-Gung and the tree to stay?Cast your vote and complete an ending to the play!

‘The Tree Spirit and the God Bag-Gung’ is a funny, daring, positive and interactive children’s show  with music and puppetry in Taiwanese Hakka, Taiwanese Hokkien and Chinese Mandarin.

Team Furry Tails

Team Furry Tails was founded in 2018 in London by a group of Taiwanese female theatre artists. Combining puppetry, live music, and multilingual performances, the troupe is dedicated to creating high-quality, engaging, and educational productions, ensuring that children have the right to participate in culture and the arts.

In the same year, Team Furry Tails premiered their fantastical puppet show ”A Cockroach and Furry Blurry Fluffy Things” at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2018. They earned a five-star review and quoted ‘An Exceptional Children's Show ' by The Wee Review.  

After returning to Taiwan in 2019, Team Furry Tails has actively participated in the the Community progtam of the Taipei Children's Arts Festival, offering free shows to allow more audiences to experience high-quality productions from the international stage.
