At the edge of the city, there is a Forest Stationery Room that quietly opens its doors only in early summer. In the first half of 2026, the curatorial team of Mori Market presents a brand-new themed project, "Little Forest Letters — Forest Stationery Room." Following the sound of pen tips, the scent of paper, and the messages carried by the wind, we invite you to step into the Taipei Performing Arts Center.
For the very first edition, Little Forest Letters · Forest Stationery Room gathers over 120 international creators from Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Chiang Mai, alongside more than 80 local Taiwanese brands, coming together to create a once-a-year dreamlike stationery forest.
Illustrator Dong Jun brings this world to life with a childlike and whimsical touch, imagining stationery floating gently in the air. Scissors, fountain pens, envelopes, and ink pads embark on journeys like light-footed creatures; squirrels and white birds weave through stacks of paper, as if delivering letters yet to arrive. Every detail holds a story—and a sense of warmth.
"Letters" are an extension of emotion—each stroke capturing the subtle glimmers of life. The "Stationery Room" is where memories begin, where paper, pens, stamps, and tapes become the ways we connect with the world.
Within the distinctive architecture of TPAC, the imagination of the forest intertwines with the rhythm of the city. We warmly invite you, in the gentle light of May, to step into this forest built entirely of stationery.
