2023 TCAF-Fun Fair《Holy Gazai》

"Edge Reincarnation Technique" is based on Taiwanese folklore, humorously deconstructed and recreated from a different perspective. Behind the absurdity lies the obsession with love and the desire for freedom and security. Through advocating for the rights of monsters, it conveys the spirit of empathy, respect, and independent thinking, embracing monsters with laughter, as no one is an outcast. By exploring the unknown state of "boundaries" through monster narratives and experiencing infinite possibilities through chaos, the performance blends Taiwanese traditional folk songs, theatrical music, jazz vocabulary, electronic sound effects, and fusion music, creating a unique Taiwanese flavor.
