All are welcome to Saturday Night Live Music @ Tpac Micro Stage for free concerts and music performances. The Micro Stage is in TPAC’s Sirius Plaza. This is a place for picnics and get-togethers, as well as to play TPAC’s puzzle-solving game/scavenger hunt. This is our Micro Stage, where wonderful performances take place.
On Saturday nights from October 5 to December 21, 10 groups perform on the Micro Stage, filling the atmosphere with music. As vibrant musical notes float through the air, move to the rhythms, as you experience the music of different cultures and enjoy the happiness of the moment. Become a part of Saturday’s liveliest nighttime concerts, taking place in front of TPAC.
10/05 (六) 17:00、18:45|Taiwan Bamboo Orchestra
As the first orchestra in Taiwan using only instruments made from bamboo, the Taiwan Bamboo Orchestra is also known as the “eco-orchestra.” It works with Taiwanese craftspeople to research and develop bamboo percussion and traditional wind instruments. The Sounds of Bamboo was nominated in the Best Traditional Album category at the 26th Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music, while the album A Faded Memory was selected for the Ministry of Culture’s new artist program. This orchestra’s performances are lively, creative, and well loved by audiences. No wonder it is often invited to perform at art festivals in Taiwan and abroad.

The AVA Vocal Music Group, founded in 1992, is made up of members of The Association of Vocal Artists of the Republic of China. Bringing together vocal artists from Taiwan and abroad, it promotes vocal arts and vocal education and research, expands performance opportunities for its members, elevates the vocal arts, and encourages the vigorous development of music culture. Under the leadership of its past presidents, professors SHEN Xue-Yong, LIU Sai-Yun, XI Mu-De, YANG Ai-Lin, and SUN Chin-Chi, as well as current president Professor CHYOU Shang-Fen, there are now nearly 330 members.
The AVA Vocal Music Group performs opera arias, art songs, show tunes, jazz vocals, and contemporary works. This is the largest and most representative vocal performance group in Taiwan.
10/19 (六) 17:00、18:45|Liu Sheng Ji
Liu Sheng Ji is a crossover band made up of members that play three of the most representative traditional Chinese orchestral instruments: bamboo flute, erhu, and pipa, as well as those who play the guitar, bass, and jazz drums. At its musical core is “the incorporation of Western musical elements into the traditional Chinese instrumental vocabulary.” Its debut cross-disciplinary album Re-Evolution reached number one on the Eslite Music and books.com.tw Music charts. In 2021, it attempted its first live concert broadcast, entitled Spending Christmas with You, which was viewed by more than 50,000 people online. This band has been invited to perform in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Dubai, Oman, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand.

The Taiwan Adlib Band presents highly unique, mainly improvised performances.
This band cleverly combines Chinese and Western instruments, performing original works and Chinese and Western classics, so that audiences always hear something new. The members reveal their love of this land and their home through music. Their motivation for creating original works has led to the completion of two albums, Taiwan Island Music and Taiwan Island Music – Flowers, and a theater production, Mysterious Grocery Store. They have been invited to participate in art festivals and music festivals all around Taiwan, including the 2016 World Music Festival Taiwan, organized by the Ministry of Culture, and an online performance of Mysterious Grocery Store. In addition, they participated in the European tour – time and space travel subsidy program and are recognized as one of New Taipei City’s outstanding arts and cultural groups.
