About the Performance

This performance of ‘’Voices of The Beloved Choir’’ combines chorus and performing arts, and the design concept is "an integrated performance with healing auditory and visual enjoyment." In addition to chorus, the performance also includes plot connection, dance and a variety of musical instrument accompaniments. The members focus on physical expression and interactive singing, and the visuals are matched with lighting design; the repertoire is based on traditional hymns, combined with the premiere of new creations, and is arranged in a variety of styles, including traditional European and American hymns, hip-hop, ballet, Taiwanese folk style, etc., contrary to the traditional classical form of chorus performance, hope to achieve the purpose of "promoting the cross-border interactive performance art of chorus and spreading the truth, goodness and beauty of God".

‘’Voices of The Beloved Choir’’ was founded on June 22, 2022, by Taiwan's important sacred music promoter and composer Wu Chia-Feng (Taipei non-profit organization public welfare performing arts group 1990). Artist Profile

Wu Chia-Feng, Taiwan

Wu Chia-Feng has been the program producer and resident arranger of two important sacred orchestras in Taiwan - the "Singing Stone Sacred Orchestra" and "The Sound of Streams Sacred Orchestra". She also served as the founding producer and choral conductor of "The Sound of Streams Sacred Orchestra", and has arranged more than 100 repertoires, and those works were toured at the National Concert Hall and elsewhere.

Wu Chia-Feng graduated from the composition department of the Music Institute of the National Taipei University of the Arts. She has created a lot of music. Her CDs were nominated for the Golden Melody Awards: Best Religious Album "Heaven-Sent Passages" and National Music Album "Hope-The Original Sound". She served as composer and singer in the album. , performance, chorus conductor, recording, mixing, and other multiple roles. The films she composed music include "Termites" and "Skinny Soul" were all shortlisted or award-winning projects at the Golden Horse Awards, Taipei Film Festival or South Korea's Busan Film Festival Awards. She has also created Taiwanese albums "Jesus Loves Me" (which has been in the top ten of ELIM Study Sales Ranking), "Forever Landing", "Pray for Peace for Jerusalem", and piano pieces "The Songs without words of the Heart", ballet music, piano pieces and dozens of other classical music, etc.

Wu Chia-Feng is also good at teaching music. He has taught at Taipei National University of the Arts, Ming Chi University of Technology, and several music classes.
