About the Performance
My Place Beyond is a music concert centered on the theme of “Global Hakka.”
The program highlights two unique perspectives of dream-seeking journeys: foreigners in Taiwan engaging in Hakka cultural work, and Taiwanese Hakka traveling overseas and discovering Hakka culture across the world.
Built upon the real-life stories of eight interviewees, this concert is produced by Golden Melody Award-winning producer Peiyu Huang, and features five Golden Melody-recognized music acts — Misa, iWho iWhoo, Liu Rongchang, Chiu Lian-Chin, and Traego. Through music, My Place Beyond connects dreams, imagination, and the far-reaching horizons of the global Hakka world.
