About the Performance
The musical “Yujin & Yujin” is adapted from the bestselling young adult novel of the same name by acclaimed Korean author Lee Geum Yi, which has sold over 300,000 copies. With remarkable gentleness, the work invites us into the inner worlds of two teenage girls—both shaped by childhood wounds, yet transformed by the healing they discover in each other’s presence.
The production was nominated for Best Book and Best Composition at the 6th Korea Musical Awards, and has been performed over 300 times since its 2021 premiere. Following the acclaimed debut of the Chinese-language version in 2025, C MUSICAL now presents a new 2026 production, uniting three Taiwanese performers and the original Korean cast. These collaboration brings different versions but the same sincerity of ‘’Yujin’’, accompanying every “Lee Yujin” in the world toward a place where pain can finally find release.
