Ellie, My Love

2026-06-18 - 2026-06-21

About the Performance

On a night where time stands still, a dusty clock suddenly winds backward, rewinding the fleeting moments to lead us toward the ugly truth behind the facade. A murder case involving two couples—four lives intertwined in a web of love and hate. Who is innocent, and who is the true killer? Within this dilapidated mansion, are we trapped by the shackles of memory, or the claws of desire?

Adapted from the renowned novel by local mystery writer Chan Ho-kei, "Ellie, My Love" returns in its fourth year of creation with even greater maturity. Since its 2022 debut, it has garnered the "Best Production" and "Best Director" awards at the Hong Kong Theatre Libre, followed by a "Best Actress (Tragedy/Drama)" nomination at the 34th Hong Kong Drama Awards for its 2025 revival.

We are all beings bound by time. The "present" is tethered to the past and the future; without breaking free from the linear flow of time, true freedom remains out of reach.

(In Cantonese, with Chinese surtitle)
