“It’s 2:38 p.m. right now. The movers are arriving at 3:30.
I have less than an hour to pack everything that’s left.
I can do this. I definitely can.”

A woman's move enters its final, spiraling countdown.

Moving boxes fill with everything essential—and everything left behind.
Plush toys, clothes, everyday household items, and stacks of heavy books.

Packing up a life feels like switching on a carousel of memories.
The stories condensed within objects come rushing back,
and in those fleeting moments of recollection,
letting go can seem to require every ounce of strength one has.

We read "Tidying Up with Marie Kondo".
We flip through Muji storage catalogues.
We practice the art of decluttering,
imagining that one decisive sweep might lead to a lighter, simpler life.

But can life really be that clean-cut?

Saying goodbye to the things that have accompanied us
takes effort.
It requires gratitude.
It requires practice.

Otherwise, they pile up—
blocking doorways,
occupying space,
draining our attention.

But what if the thing we want to get rid of
is not an object at all?

What if it is something deeply important,
and deeply troubling?

Can we let go of that, too?

Is it really clutter that we cannot throw away—
or a past we have long wanted to leave behind?
How do we begin?
How do we begin?
Different as we are, we share one belief in theater.
Since a performance in 2024, this club has continued to practice—shaping thoughts into something that can be held in one's palm.
