Some people shine desperately, only because they are afraid of being forgotten.

WU CHI
The team has conducted an in-depth study of pauses left unperformed, silences left untranslated, and distress signals that rarely reach the surface.
On-site, four live specimens will mutually infect one another, demonstrating to audiences who have spent years maintaining the appearance of normality that crying is not a sign of weakness—it is evidence of life beginning to move again.
We warmly invite all “well-adjusted” humans to enter the observation field and reclaim their right to unravel with grace.
Please proceed with caution. Some works remain highly permeable.

Showmiisperforming
showmiisperforming
Based in Taipei, showmiisperforming explores the emotional conditions and embodied experiences of contemporary life through interdisciplinary performance-making.
Working across theatre, dance, sound, and spatial design, we develop artistic forms that exist between performance and exhibition, creating immersive environments where audiences are invited not only to observe, but also to experience.
Our work investigates moments that often resist definition:
the distance between people,
the memories carried by the body,
the traces left by emotions,
and the recurring sense of loneliness and longing embedded within urban life.
Rather than offering answers, we believe art can open new ways of perceiving ourselves and the world around us.
Each project is an ongoing study of what it means to be human—
and an invitation to move a little closer to ourselves.
