she listens, in silence, to the story of a ballroom dancer and a classical composer...

Trapped within the folds of the play, Taiwan spins in silence.

YAORONG HU
Hu Yao Rong｜Theatre Artist
Born in Taipei. During her residency in France (2017~2020), she studied Decroux corporeal mime in Marseille and later underwent brief mime training in Warsaw, Poland, embarking on a lifelong exploration of the theatrical body. Since then, her practice has been inspired by various methodologies, including the Jerzy Grotowski's method, An Acrobat of the Heart from Stephen Wangh, Suzuki Method of Actor Training, Theodoros Terzopoulos' Method, Phillip Zarrilli’s Psychophysical Acting, and Viewpoints. In 2025, she obtained a dual Master’s degree in French Literature from the University of Szeged (Hungary) and the Université de Limoges (France). For her, the theatre is a primal space: one person, one body, one breath—that is all it takes to create a world.
