Taiwan's First Cross-Species Olfactory Interactive Art
"Meow. Human thoughts are always too tangled; some things can only be untangled through scent."
Possessive Perception 2.0 is a cross-pacific collaboration conspired by me— "Sesame Wu"—and with human beings. We have temporarily transformed the exhibition space into a "Dream Laboratory" where technology and sensibility intertwine.
The story begins with a 9,600-kilometer sensory relocation. I watched her pack the damp memories of Vancouver's rain, quickly load them into reality, and translate them to the neon-lit alleys of Taipei at night. Here, human thoughts are chaotic, and digital noises are always jumping. But as you open the specially crafted experimental logbook, interactive tech devices will instantly capture your emotional vocabulary. Through precise mechanical rhythms, your unspoken longing and reconciliation are translated into a unique, exclusive scent.
Here, briefly detach from the realistic city, and see an emotional utopia of senses and love through our furry’s eyes. Some dreams can only be read with the nose. We invite you to join this sensory ritual of decoding breaths.

The Meow-Fitz
A cross-disciplinary collision between NTU's Department of Drama and Theatre and the Department of Mechanical Engineering. A curator with a Canadian background joins hands with technical partners to create a dream-themed, pet-friendly olfactory feast, guided entirely by the intuition of me, feline director "Sesame Wu." We integrate AI technology in an experimental space to realize a surreal sensory ritual co-created by humans and furry friends.
