"Five hundred bucks for a one-way ticket to a brave new world. Sounds like a steal, doesn't it?"
Crushed by the daily grind, numbed by the corporate machine—have you ever felt entirely powerless against this chaotic world? Have you ever craved a society of absolute purity?
Welcome to the Utopia crafted by the Model City Government—a perfect world fueled by collective will. Here, capital criminals face their final, sacred judgment live before the public. It is a relentless war between the citizens and four "demons," fought until justice is served.
A brilliant mind shattered from within.
A desperate mother risking everything to protect her only weakness.
A stray soul born into chaos and raised by the streets.
A fanatic blinded by devotion and love.
Under the massive gears of the system, names and histories are erased, stripped down to cold serial numbers. "Criminal" is their only remaining identity. But as the shadows creep in, can this flawless regime truly contain the "demons"? Everything will collide in a violent, bloody showdown under the crimson lights.
"Are we killing evil, or are we just killing out of fear? Are we creating a paradise, or just a beautiful lie?"
The 2026 Fringe Festival presents a hard-hitting, mind-bending psychological thriller. Is this just a play, or a reflection of reality? Is the process an experiment, or the inevitable end?
The airship to "The Rest of ONE's life" is boarding now. Remember who you are, and have your pass ready.
[Character Profiles]
◆ X (Yu Chi-er) | Age: 31
Chief Administrator of the Tier-3 Control Facility under "The Rest of ONE's life." He holds absolute power over the city's worst felons and runs the facility with an iron fist wrapped in a flawless reputation.
◆ Inmate 305 (Lin Yi-chen) | Age: 23
A straight-A student who snapped, committing a random mass stabbing that left 3 dead and 1 injured.
◆ Inmate 493 (Lyu Jia-qi) | Age: 26
A mother driven to extremes, who brutally executed the son of a wealthy stockbroker.
◆ Inmate 638 (Yang En-kai) | Age: 22
A repeat offender and local thug, arrested after a fatal brawl with gangsters inside his own home.
◆ Inmate 774 (Andrea) | Age: 27
A high-ranking zealot of the shadowy cult WUS (Whole University Stars). He carried out 4 contract killings under the orders of his late leader, Galilei. His youngest victim was only 12.
[Concept & Crossover]
Inmate 774 belongs to WUS, a cult that views humanity through a cosmic lens: like stars in the universe, every individual—no matter how small or hidden—holds up the sky. To society, these inmates are outcasts, monsters, and anomalies. Yet, they possess their own truths. They are the invisible, essential pieces of our social fabric, far more than a cold serial number.
The world is never just black and white. It is precisely through these "detested ones" that we are forced to confront the dark corners of reality that ordinary people ignore. "When you strip away the labels, we are cut from the same cloth."
Everything expands from a single point. Just like the Big Bang, existence begins at a "singularity"—a point of infinite mass and zero volume. This production, "The Rest of ONE's life," acts as a vital, direct crossover with "Galileo.G.Programme." While our show dissects the internal psyche and human systems, Galileo.G.Programme offers a macroscopic view of the outer world. Together, they intertwine to reveal the raw, complex essence of human existence.

YEN CHU
Yen Chu invokes Five Elements (wood fuels fire), transforming creative energy into a blaze. Punning on "acting," we use theater to illuminate social shadows and ignite hidden truths.
Fire and wood — like people, like the world — carry within them the essential elements of life, endlessly renewing.
To exist in this world is to hold a flame: we seek to let it burn bright and brilliant, radiating the full force of life. And like the fire within the heart, no matter how small, as long as it burns, there is light.
To exist in this world is also to be rooted: drawing strength from the earth, growing toward the light like wood, embracing all of life's beauty with quiet resilience.
A matchstick is a life grown from the ground. The flame it sparks is theatre itself, ignited by a brief and fleeting friction that lifts the curtain, carried forward by the stage that receives it, growing into a fire that awakens all those who had been quietly waiting in the dark.
