“All philosophical problems are just language games.” — Ludwig Wittgenstein

In an era as incredibly free as ours, are our words and expressions genuinely free?
What kind of beliefs keep us creating—and why is theater the only medium that can deliver them?

Theater is the ultimate total art form, yet we continuously rely on the fallacies of language to understand each other and make our stands. As different fields use different vocabularies, our understanding of creation and experimentation only seems to grow weaker and more confined.

Could "understanding each other" ultimately just be an illusion?
Is your "heartfelt truth" nothing more than a facade constructed by others, while to me, it’s all just a "hoax"?

If every lie told splits into multiple universes,
then every actor must be held responsible for the Big Bang.
Exploding, inside the black box, over and over again—
Explode!
Explode!
Exploded...
Let's lie together to shape reality, starting by learning "Esperanto."

Does a regional accent affect an actor’s livelihood?
Is speaking poor Taiwanese an absolute political incorrectness?
Accents, grammar, muscle memory—are we talking about language proficiency, or the physical presence of the actor's body?
How can theater imagine and construct the sonic and visual qualities of language?
Is the "color" of language a political stance?
What is the language of the body?
How high can we push the physical limits of symbolism?

If language shapes a person's mindset, and the boundaries of that mindset limit how we understand the world—where exactly are the limits of our minds as theater makers?

By experimenting within the cracks and crevices of language, we hope to discover the next era, uncovering the many facets of stories that theater needs to tell and care about.
