Fusion Jazz Flamenco-Featuring The Best Flamenco Instrumentalist Winner Lara Wong from Madrid
Fusion Jazz Flamenco is a splendid performance that combines musicians from Madrid, Spain, who have won the first prize in the Flamenco competition, with well-known jazz and world music band from Taiwan. Together, they present a magnificent celebration of cultural fusion and exchange between various music styles.
Ciao, JOANNA
The Jazz, Flamenco and folk fusion band ‘Ciao, JOANNA’ has just released their latest album, Circus Romance. Containing all original compositions, it also contains elements of Taiwanese Aboriginal poem along with Jazz, Flamenco and World Music. And the album "Circus Romance" has also won the "Silver Award of Fusion Album" issued by the world-renowned Global Music Award.
In recent years they have arranged several big concerts in Taiwan, inviting legendary musicians such as Jorge Pardo from Spain and the band L’Âme des Poètes from Belgium, also invited the mountain aboriginal students choir to join them for some thrilling performances.

Lara Wong, Canada
Lara Wong is a Flutist and Bansuri player. Lara’s musical journey began in the classical world and she earned her degree in classical and jazz flute at McGill University in Montreal. During her university years she began to dedicate herself to flamenco and upon graduating, she went to the south of Spain to study flamenco.
Over the years, she has become a respected figure in the flamenco scene, best known for playing flamenco music on the Indian bansuri flute. Lara is also the winner of the “Filon" first prize award for best flamenco instrumentalist of the prestigious Festival Cante de las Minas, making her the first foreigner to win in any category of the festival's 60 year history.
Joanna Yang, Taiwan
Joanna Yang is a Flutist and Program Arranger. Joanna has just produced their latest album "Circus Romance". Containing all original compositions, it also contains elements of Taiwanese Aboriginal poem along with Jazz, Flamenco and World Music.
