Off stage, they wrestle with mourning and remorse, trying to escape the fate of being “the replacement.”
Between rehearsals and real life, between love and faith, between death and redemption— who is the true disciple? And who is the righteous God?

Jezreel is a valley with no clear location.
It is a vineyard, a battlefield.
It is where the wicked queen fell,
and the name of a prophet’s firstborn son.
This troupe is like that place—
full of stories, filled with people coming and going.
We are performers who left a world-class theatre in Hong Kong to seek truth in Taiwan.
We are old souls and new faces at the Taipei National University of the Arts.
We are counselors still wrestling with depression,
and public defenders who left Taipei to Hualien for equity.
More than that—
we are the kids who sometimes believe,
sometimes curse at God,
who fall often,
and run away from home.
But because of grace,
because of love,
we choose to bring our truest selves
to explore faith, challenge it, refine it.
On this eternal battlefield,
we create together, we cry out together,
and we wait—quietly, faithfully.
For He has said:
The day of Jezreel shall be a great day.
