The Taipei Performing Arts Center's most striking feature at first glance is its three theatres suspended in midair. Their metallic aluminum cladding creates a futuristic presence, making the whole building resemble a spaceship docked in the city. 

The Globe Playhouse's aluminum panels are lightweight and corrosion resistant, and through a special natural oxidation process combined with meticulous hand-polishing, the surface reduces light glare while revealing the delicate textures that embody the building's living character.
