Performance Curators Academy
Heneliis Notton (b. 2001) is a freelance writer and curator from Estonia. She’s currently doing her master’s degree in Queer Performance at Rose Bruford College in London. Since 2023, she is in the curatorial team of an international performing arts festival SAAL Biennaal in Tallinn, Estonia. In 2021-2023, they worked as a dramaturg in the performing arts centre Kanuti Gildi SAAL, where together with Bohdana Korohod and electron, they curated a performative bookshop and event series called Kausaal. Her texts have been published in various international magazines and publications. In 2021, her play Emesis won an award at the national playwriting competition. Since 2023, they are a guest lecturer at UT Viljandi Culture Academy.
Both as a curator and writer, Heneliis is interested in collectivity, as SAAL Biennaal is a collectively curated festival and she also leads workshops to explore ways of collaboration through the activity of writing.
