All are welcome to Saturday Night Live Music @ Tpac Micro Stage for free concerts and music performances. The Micro Stage is in TPAC’s Sirius Plaza. This is a place for picnics and get-togethers, as well as to play TPAC’s puzzle-solving game/scavenger hunt. This is our Micro Stage, where wonderful performances take place.
On Saturday nights from October 5 to December 21, 10 groups perform on the Micro Stage, filling the atmosphere with music. As vibrant musical notes float through the air, move to the rhythms, as you experience the music of different cultures and enjoy the happiness of the moment. Become a part of Saturday’s liveliest nighttime concerts, taking place in front of TPAC.
12/07 (六) 17:00、18:45｜Toboss Chamber Music Group
Toboss Chamber Music Group was established in 2015. Its members are all Taiwanese who hold doctorate degrees in music performance. Every year, they organize themed chamber music concerts in the National Concert Hall. Since 2017, CHEN Chao-Hui and TSAI Shih-Hao have collaborated on piano duets. In addition to regular annual performances, they have been invited to participate in the “Colorful Keyboard Music by Sun Yat-sen University” and “A Journey of Piano Duet by Chung Yuan University” concerts. They have also taken part in the WMCT Foundation’s “88 Keys Game for Two” lecture and concert and promotional concerts for Taipei’s arts, culture, and performing arts venues. This is a lively piano playing duo.

Hsuanyu Music Collection was established in 2022, with Duan Yu-Chien as its leader and Duan Fu-Hsuan as its artistic director. It advocates appropriate leisure activities for young people, assisting and providing information to those who are interested in studying music, promoting music education and performance activities, and holding regular concerts, lectures, and observation activities to increase interest in culture and the arts, promote social harmony, and elevate the level of music performances in Taiwan. This group organizes orchestral, wind, string, and chamber music concerts, seminars, and study camps, as well as conducts international exchanges with orchestras and wind and string music groups around the world to promote the arts and leisure activities, elevate the level of music, and create urban cultural characteristics that promote social progress.

Formed by three college friends, the members of Trio Friend include the free and unrestrained flautist TSAI Pei-Yu, crossover player CHEN Chih-Lin, and classical and romantic yanqin player LAI Tsai-Yen. With this simple sizhu combination, they create moving rhythms and performances. Their high level of tacit understanding enables them to develop crossover dialogues. No matter if classical music, traditional Chinese orchestral music, fusion of music from other countries, folk songs from around the world, Mandopop, Western pop, traditional operas, or Hakka hill songs, Trio Friend constantly seeks musical inspiration, with the anticipation of leading listeners on a musical journey around the world, while experiencing the beauty of tradition.
