Gray means you're feeling moody, right? When you come to the Taipei Performing Arts Center, we will listen to your every thought and embrace all your colors.

Colors are strongly correlated with our emotional state and mood, and our body can feel this connection even without words. The Taipei Performing Arts Center uses an array of colors with different effects on our emotions.

The center’s first and second floors have been defined as "a hall for the people”, as the space uses neutral colors, including classic silver, white, and gray.

Its sleek and no-nonsense style is welcoming to all visitors. Your thoughts can roam free here in this arena of relaxation, allowing you to slow down effortlessly.

The Taipei Performing Arts Center’s customized shade of blue represents the calmness of theater and the allure of wisdom. You can see this in the three main theater spaces of the center: the Grand Theater, Blue Box, and Proscenium Playhouse.

Green is used for the ceiling of the administrative office, letting in a breath of nature and reminding performers to breathe and relax in the green room.

Pink is a code for incubation and this color can be experienced in the rehearsal spaces, which are incubators for performances.
