GIANT CLASS
Peking Opera
In the foundational training course of Peking Opera techniques, participants are introduced to and guided in the physical movements of traditional opera. Throughout the process, the concept of the "Five Methods" of opera, encompassing "hands, eyes, body, steps, and techniques," is explained. Through hands-on practice, a deeper understanding of the aesthetic of opera in terms of "singing, recitation, acting, and combat" is developed.
Furthermore, practical exercises are integrated to teach the application of operatic combat techniques (the use of weapons) as appropriate. Different weapon props and their usage are introduced as part of the training.
