The Taipei Performing Arts Center integrates the concept of the Rubik's Cube with a distinctive “3+1” design, crafting a versatile theater space that embraces both the classic and the unexpected, as well as the intersection of arts and daily life. Audio guides are available in Mandarin, English, and Japanese. We invite you to put on the headphones and roam freely around the Taipei Performing Arts Center. Feel free to follow the audio guide’s numerical sequence or chart your own course of exploration. Embark on your journey of discovery today!
The Mandarin version features recordings with Professor Kung Shu-chang from NYCU's Architecture Institute and Hsieh Ying-xuan, an acclaimed actress who has won both the Golden Horse and Golden Bell Awards.
The audio guide goes live on April 2, 2024. We welcome you to join in the experience!

Rental Location
Equipment available on-site at “1F Service Center”.
Due to the limited number of the audio guide equipment, rentals are subject to availability on-site. We do not accept reservations via email, phone, or fax.
Available Time
Tuesday to Sunday (12:30-18:00), last rental time: 16:30.
Each use is for 90 minutes. Additional time is charged in 30-minute increments at NT$50 each. (Less than 30 minutes extra incurs NT$50 fee).
Fee
- Full Price | NT$150 - Regular visitors
- Discounted Price | NT$120 - Students (including international student ID holders)、Residents of Shilin District、TPAC paying members (Addict Player and Trooper Player)、Children aged 3 to under 12
- Half Price | NT$75 - Individuals aged 65 and over、People with disability identification and one accompanying person
For TPAC paying members, please present the Member Login Page. For other discounts, please provide valid identification (ID card/driver's license/passport/residence permit/NHI card/student ID/disability certificate).
Deposit (ID/Cash)
Present one valid identification (ID card/driver's license/NHI card/passport/residence permit) or leave a deposit of NT$2,000 for the rental. Return the equipment to the service center on the first-floor after use. Upon confirmation of the correct quantity and proper functioning of the equipment, your deposited ID or cash will be returned.
Rental Terms
- In the event of loss or damage to the audio guide equipment, compensation will be required based on the original equipment price. Please note that refunds will not be issued for unused audio guide equipment.
- The scope of the audio guide tour is limited to the first and second floors of the Taipei Performing Arts Center.
