At the end of the October double festival, one winner will be drawn for the "Grand Formosa Regent Taipei Panoramic Suite." Draws will be conducted on Fridays, May 19, May 26, June 2, and October 6. For the draws before the end of May, the qualification period will be calculated until each Wednesday. Participants who have not won in a particular week can continue to participate in the next draw until the end of the event. After the double festival event, there will be a final draw for all registered Taipei Arts members who have successfully purchased tickets. The winners' announcement will be posted on the Taipei Performing Arts Center's latest news within two days of the draw. The prize redemption process will be initiated by the Taipei Performing Arts Center through the delivery of an electronic notification email to the winners. The email address used for sending the correspondence will be based on the contact information provided by the Taipei Performing Arts Center member. If a response with the required information is necessary, please send it back within the specified time and complete the redemption process according to the regulations. Failure to obtain the required information or incomplete data within the specified period will be considered as forfeiting the right to the prize. Late redemption requests will not be reissued. The first batch of prizes will be sent out progressively starting from June 30th, and the prizes drawn in October will be sent out before the end of October. The winners must be the individuals who purchased the event tickets, and the contact information should match the registration data of the Taipei Performing Arts Center. If the identification document provided by the winner does not match the name of the ticket purchaser, the Taipei Performing Arts Center reserves the right to cancel the prize. According to the tax laws of the Republic of China, if the prize amount exceeds NT$20,000 (including), the winner is required to pay a 10% tax on the prize income. If the prize amount exceeds NT$1,000 (including), it must be included in the annual income as per the relevant tax laws. Therefore, the winners need to provide a copy of their identification document and fill out the prize claim form in order to receive the prize. From August 19th to 27th, you have the opportunity to become a beachgoer in this legendary and iconic performance.Sign-ups are open from now until May 25th (Thursday)!Taipei Arts Festival:Since 2018, Taipei Performing Arts Center has been hosting the "Taipei Arts Festival." It is one of the internationally renowned arts festivals, serving as a diverse platform for interdisciplinary artistic collaborations and a creative hub for Taiwanese artists. Each summer, through a series of focused and intensive performances, the festival showcases the spirit and vitality of performing arts culture and community integration, projecting the image of Taipei as a cultural city onto the international stage."Sun and Sea":Program Information:"Sun and Sea" is an exhibition-opera created collaboratively by three Lithuanian artists, which received the highest honor, the Golden Lion, at the 2019 Venice Biennale. The work portrays a joyful and leisurely beach scene during the summertime while conveying concerns about environmental devastation and climate change. Taipei Performing Arts Center will recreate the scorching sun and sandy beach in the Blue Box Theater from August 19th to 27th, offering an idyllic summer vacation experience. The performance runs for eight days, four hours per day, totaling 32 shows.Program Synopsis:In the scorching summer, people in swimsuits, sunglasses, and sun hats lie or sit on the beach, laughing and enjoying the leisurely summer time.However, as the audience overlooks this beach, they will realize that there is neither sun nor sea. Vocalists lie on the artificial beach, performing in a continuous loop for four hours.
